A short but sweet hunt of a gray that finally sat his ass in one spot long enough for me to put a pellet on target. The Squirrel was 50yards away and I threaded the shot through branches right to the side of the head for an instant kill.
The gray squirrel population appears to be feeling the effects of this years hunting season because i am seeing fewer than normal. I may take a few weeks off to see what the population is doing before continuing with the hunts.

About the rifle used:
Benjamin Marauder GEN2
The rifle has been completely torn apart and all metal openings have been deburred and polished with a hone and 1200 grit sand paper. I shoot JSB 18.4GR at 920FPS = 34FPE. The regulator is set to whatever gave these results. The HUMA regulator bar indicator is very crude and it is near impossible to determine the actual bar setting. I removed my pressure gauge block so that I would maintain maximum air volume capacity in my air reservoir or else it would be simple to determine regulated pressure.
